Interesting People We Meet

Walking your dog can and often does bring you into contact with others. I have news Ukraine   met some fascinating people walking, and this one is a puzzle. I will not share his name for two reasons, one, he has not shared his full name with me, two I may be looking at the wrong person on the Internet.
It started out with small talk about our pets when he mentions that he would be leaving on an exciting trip to the Far East. The next time we met, I asked him how his trip went, his reply, “interesting, I am excited about next week, I am going to Ukraine.” This perked my interest, as Ukraine had been all over the news. The first or maybe the last name he gave me, was also associated with the news around Ukraine. However, the picture of the men did not match. So, I made an internet search on the name and found someone with that name and a face picture that looked very much like my friend-the CEO of a company doing business with the government, a college professor, and writer. I like one of his articles and saved it. The headquarters for the business turned out to be only five miles from our home! I was sure that I had found the right person.
The next time our paths crossed while walking our dogs near my home, I shared with him how much I liked the article he wrote. He wanted to know what article, so I pulled out my phone and showed him the article. He laughed and said that it was not him! Next, we talked about the weather, and he said he was leaving for Canada, and worked with large companies developing software, then shared that he was not a programmer, but would be hiring some after finding investors for the project. At this point, I am not sure if he is just playing with my mind or trying to distract me.
This company, I will call XYZ Inc., advises the government and defense departments on world issues. I thought I would ride by the business address. The house my GPS took me to had no number on the mailbox or house, which looked to be a little below average for the subdivision. Several houses up the dead-end street. There was a house with the number I was looking for, but the number was out of sequence. Someone must have moved the numbers! Still no indication of any business.
